Are you really sure that the webcam works out of the box? I've got the same notebook, but the webcam doesn't work here... My Operating System is Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron I thought that there were no drivers out there for the bison cam? Greetz Rlf

warum mach ich mir eigentlich die mühe und schreibe auf englisch, wenn du deutsch verstehst :-) ? Also, funktioniert auf dienem A6VA wirklich die Webcam mit Cheese? Gruß Rlf

Hello, i also have an A6VA. I'm reading that bisoncam seems to work on ubuntu 8.04, is it true? By the way i can't read german, would you please help me? Thank you

Hi gutsy, as you can see hwinfo detects "Syntek Semicon USB2.0 Video" on my A6VA-Q025H. So it seems like my model has a different Webcam integrated. Bisoncam still does not work!
